Ad attribution is broken. Here's our take.

·5 min read·NamasteSuite team

Every ads dashboard you've ever opened defaults to last-click attribution. It's the model the platforms ship because it's the model that makes their own surface look the most valuable. It is also, almost always, wrong.

The problem with last-click

Last-click rewards whatever channel was closest to the conversion — usually the brand search or the retargeting ad. The upper-funnel campaign that introduced the brand a week earlier gets zero credit, so you cut its budget, and your pipeline dries up two months later.

What we do instead

We capture the first ad-driven touch on the lead record. When the lead converts — including through a matched BookingBible payment — the CRM keeps that acquisition context attached to the lead. NamasteSuite currently reports first-touch attribution; it does not claim a complete multi-touch model.

Server-side CAPI

Browser-only pixels can miss events because of browser privacy controls and tracking blockers. NamasteSuite can send configured Meta Conversions API events server-side with hashed identifiers and stored attribution parameters. Match quality and campaign outcomes still depend on consent, data quality, account configuration, and the ad platform.

What changes for you

  • First-touch campaign context remains visible after the lead enters CRM.
  • Eligible CRM segments can be synchronized to configured Meta audiences.
  • Trusted conversion events can be sent from the server when consent and destination settings permit it.

Attribution is always a model, not a complete account of causality. The useful part is being explicit about which model the product reports and which data supports it.
